Well, let's be fair. The CCP is one of Biden's key constituencies, isn't it?

Urgh. I'm going to have to defend McConnell.

To be fair to McConnell, what he gets up to after the mid-terms depends on what he gets in the mid-terms, does it not?

If it's a red wave that overwhelms the filibuster, the sky is the limit (although it's McConnell, I very much doubt you will see the US turned into an Ancap paradise by the time Biden's up for re-election). If he gets 52 seats, he's necessarily got to be more cautious, no?

Anyone else get the impression that "strengthening trust in American democracy" will come about by carting anyone who expresses scepticism off to the camps?

Governments around the world have been searching for the right forms of words to use in order to scare people into just giving up their civil liberties for about fifty years or so, I think. Turns out it was this.

Is there not some (presumably ignored) clause that limits this to actual candidates, then, or does the Australian state o Victoria simply periodically turn itself into a totalitarian hellhole, on the promise that if the population is good they'll be given their rights back?

Well, that too, but I'm fairly sure most people's response to an apparent pandemic would not be:

We need somebody with relevant, extensive experience of virology, transmission and epidemiology ... FETCH ME A DENTIST!!

Wow, rocking the Detroit (NOT Detroit:Become Human) UI like it's 1994?

Better be accused of murder than rape these days...

Depending on who gets murdered, the left might even be quite in favour of it. They're bigger on tribalism than they are on morals.

We failed

OK, so what is this paper going to do about it? Wring their hands and carry on as before, with that feel-good glow of a mea culpa?

Well he has been very haram, hasn't he?

It's something of a surprise that mainstream media hasn't given him the Nikolai Yezhov treatment yet...

... just imagine. Somewhere in the depths of the FBI, some administrator is having to sign off on all this overtime.

She's not social distancing! To the camps with her!

So you're not even allowed to leave the house for exercise, but it's "only for the next four days"

I wonder how long those "four days" have to last before the litany of health issues these untermensch have picked up forces the government - regretfully, of course - to compel vaccination to protect them, now that their health is so bad they're at a high risk of Covid?

A question: Does this work for anybody?

I didn't have to read your comment to realise you were unhinged...

That is the point of "hate speech", isn't it?

Calling for death to the West: Not hateful

Pointing out you calling for death to the West: hateful

There's nothing objective about it, and so it's a favourite of Social Justice types because it allows them free rein with their own biases, built-in to the concept.

Let me guess, she's going to be the brains of the family and Isildur's demise comes when he stops obeying his sister?

Well, I suppose "no MAP pedo left behind" could be their motto by this point.
