We live in a regressive puritan culture being run by fringe lunatics who get to decide what's acceptable for everyone else.
People have been fooled into thinking the censoring of free expression, that's being used to suppress them, was somehow their idea and that it's good. When in reality, it's the ideologically driven elite preying on their insecurities and indoctrinating them into thinking so.
They promote diversity of the physical self in order to hide the insane censorship of intellectual diversity.
It's not rocket science. They're stifling our philosophical differences while pointing around and screaming, "Look how different everyone looks!" Even as all those people mentally conform exactly as they want to on things they wish to promote.
Ironically it was last year on the instapundit site that one of the bloggers posted “when did we win the culture war?”, noting that it was the religious right in the 80s that had been promoting the removal of sex and radical ideas from the media and the left had constantly castigated them and called for free speech and... now... the left is effectively the religious right with me too and the removal of women as sex objects
The left won the culture war when when the right failed to offer anything to Gen X and Y, and mindlessly attacked anything that managed to hold a kid's attention longer than the bible.
This might not be so bad if most humans could really handle the nihilism of being truly atheistic, but they can't. They NEED a higher power. They NEED to imagine a just cause. They desperately require some kind of path.
And so they have replaced religion with politics.
Just like when learners of a new language imperfectly speak their new tongue with parts of the grammatical structure of their old one, these worshippers of politics unconciously imprint their old religion onto their new one.
It's impossible to look at woke politics and not see how very Catholic it all is. Right down to the kiddy-fiddling priests.
It seems that there's always been that element on the left too. Tipper Gore founded the Parents Music Resource Center. Hillary Clinton introduced the Family Entertainment Protection Act and its co-sponsors were all Democrats.
There was an episode where master shake got bitten by a radioactive black dude and turned well... black.
But it was so dumb it wasn't really offensive.
I mean, i could see the babies crying but i'm surprised it took them this long. Like they really went overboard but it was so overboard it was great. Anyone reading this that thinks its just about talking food needs to look into it, its some of the best stupid comedy.
I only saw one episode, and I'd think they'd be more upset about that one. It was about some mummy with a really big entitlement complex.
Oh, that clip is SO 70s. (And uh, isn't the voice of that fry guy black?) Though back then, you'd likely hear more about how fry guy looks like the devil or something.
Actually, that whole cartoon seems kinda 70s, as in "wtf kind of drugs were they on when they made this?", in the grand tradition of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz".
I didn't even remember the episode mentioned in the article. I was certain if they were going to take an episode off the air for being counter-narrative, it'd be the MLK episode.
