The left won the culture war when when the right failed to offer anything to Gen X and Y, and mindlessly attacked anything that managed to hold a kid's attention longer than the bible.
This might not be so bad if most humans could really handle the nihilism of being truly atheistic, but they can't. They NEED a higher power. They NEED to imagine a just cause. They desperately require some kind of path.
And so they have replaced religion with politics.
Just like when learners of a new language imperfectly speak their new tongue with parts of the grammatical structure of their old one, these worshippers of politics unconciously imprint their old religion onto their new one.
It's impossible to look at woke politics and not see how very Catholic it all is. Right down to the kiddy-fiddling priests.
