Being downvoted is a badge of honor. I actually got reddit gold last week for the first post I've made in months and I'm still fucking mad about it. Imagine giving money to your enemy.

I've gotten a couple of awards lately in obscure reddits; one of them was a Restored Faith in Humanity award and the other was Helpful Post award. Neither of those offended me and I thought they were nice, but I think they don't cost redditbucks either. Reddit gold is a slap in the face.
