Most people don't understand basic economics and debt slavery. The media and "academics" have been gaslighting people for a long time and put us in situations in which we could use safety nets. We wouldn't need all the extra safety nets if they didn't put us in this situation.
They want us in the situation where we are dependent on them. If UBI is implemented, do you think racists will quality for it? Back in April, how many people thought lockdown protesters should be refused healthcare for WuFlu?
We should send out Thomas Sowell's Basic Economics to everyone instead of ballots.
The feasibility of putting the money printer on ludicrous speed aside, it is hysterical that the anticolonialists are comfortable with making Zimbabwe pay for Americans to sit at home.
UBI was always the end goal of Cloward-Piven. The situation was created very intentionally to get us to this point, though it took a lot longer than expected.
The part of ubi these assholes never mention is the party I actually support, once it is in place you stop all other forms of aid. No rent assistance or food stamps, it works only if you let the ones who can't handle money suffer.
That will never happen, and it won't happen for the same reason why we have social safety nets in the first place: we're too nice to let people who can't handle money suffer. As soon as someone lets their kid starve because they blew all their money on drugs or at the casino, food stamps will be re-invented.
A necessary attribute of a "safety net" is that it be as fool-proof and fail-safe as possible. Just giving someone money to spend as they wish is neither of those things.

And today, anybody in any develop nation can get enough food to eat themselves fat with wellfare, food banks and charities. Yet they still steal.
