First, you were fear mongering if you brought it up. Even when the US was getting its first confirmed cases, it was treated like a nothing burger. “Go to Chinatown, bigot” “Hug a Chinese person, racist”

Travel bans were declared racist, when they could have helped delay it a little longer. In late February/March, if you told people to prepare for shortages of food/tp, again you were a fear mongering conspiracy theorist. By the time the media and Dems “cared” about this virus, it was past time to do anything, but they were preoccupied with the Orange Man’s failed Peach Mint.

In late March/early April lockdowns began in most places, and if you were against them, you just wanted to kill grandma. All protests were demonized and full of “right wing extremists” This continued until May when the Fentanyl Floyd, Dindu Lives Matter Protests started picking up news attention, and the riots of peace were justified in spite of Covid, because of “racism being a virus”

Masks, which back in March and April you were told didn’t work and should be saved for the medical staff, became mandatory in certain places and started to be recommended everywhere. I remember when I still didn’t have to wear one at work, because it was optional. That lasted at most 2 weeks, and now if you don’t wear one, you are a monster.

Covid obviously exists, I was warning people irl back in January, but this whole event has been a political sham since the beginning. Nobody knows what they are doing, but Orange Man is bad, so anything he does is bad. I haven’t even covered all of the “Drumpf is poisoning people” nonsense.

When those fukwads started defining what was a meal and what was not if you wanted to go drink a beer somewhere, and shutting off electricity for private properties that had unapproved guest gatherings, those were already dead giveaways.

I was at the doctor a few weeks back whose office is in a hospital where I spend way too much time, talking to one of the nurses in an exam room. I took off my homemade flower mask waving the POS in the air and asked her if she thought that the dumb square of cotton was keeping me safe. Nurse said "of course not."

This covid bullshit is nothing but politics now.

I don't trust the vaccine either. It has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the reality that WuFlu has been so hyped that the pharma companies will do anything they can to capitalize on it by selling a vaccine to a massive guaranteed customer base (either the government or private insurance).

That some jurisdictions plan to make it mandatory and people like Bill Gates are trying to push this "vaccine passport" Mark of the Beast bullshit that you would need to fly or attend a concert or sporting event doesn't help me get over these reservations.

Though for any Dem to just now not "trust" any aspect of the draconian response to WuFlu that they themselves pushed is extraordinarily hypocritical.
