As weird as it sounds, I think one of the best strategic decisions a patriot can make is to learn Russian.

Yeah Russia already went through some of the worst genocides in history with the periods of Holodomor where many millions died under Soviet control. I'm sure they want to prevent something like that from happening again more than anybody.
I'm not going to go out of my way and learn Russian, but I do hope they can do well to defend their land and citizens from people who want to destroy them.
