And super hive-minded. If humans are the primate's answer to beavers, then the Chinese are the human answer to ants.

They have invented things in the past, yes, but once they hit on a use for something, that's about as far as it goes, and I don't think they're really all that great on experimentation, or are very imaginative, actually.
