Not "I picked the best candidate for the job and she was a woman", but "I will pick a woman and it doesn't matter if she's not actually as competent as a man, equal opportunity doesn't matter". I know most people here already know the modern left hates equal opportunity and embraces racism and sexism at every chance and actively fights against laws against race and gender-based discrimination, but this was, and continues to be, an unusually high profile example of it.
White women were always next on the chopping block. I don't know why they didn't realize that, as they were obviously next in line because of the sin of giving birth to the evil white man.
After that my bet for next on the chopping block is gay white males, then gay white females. After that probably straight masculine black men.
Make no mistake. They will be back on top soon enough. White upper class women will always be the most affected and most important and society will, once again, bend over in unimaginable ways to cater to them.

I honestly doubt this one. The focus is changing already to race and trans. Gay dudes have been in the affirmative action spotlight for years and then mostly disappeared from focus.
During this pride month my company changed some propaganda emails to "visibly LGBTQ+" instead of just gay. So if you are white, male and gay but do not have a giant rainbow flag flying on your head then you are no longer in the privileged club.
The same thing will happen to this man hating women.
We'll see. But as i see it, white upper class women have always been at the or near the top of the stack (which is honestly impressive, being the least opressed demographic that has ever lived on this planet) while others have fallen considerably.
