Those guys get paid by how many cases they can pack.

They don't walk a quarter mile to the portapotty the owners put at edge of the field to take a dump let alone take a leak as that costs them time/money spent not packing lettuce.

People will say this doesn't happen. I can tell you as an eyewitness more than once to seeing this in person it happens every minute of every day thos eguys are field packing produce.

Take a dump in the field, rinse the shit off your hands in the ditch, go right back to packing lettuce.

I have seen a disturbing amount of videos on 4chan and tiktok of Mexican and South American construction workers pissing in vents in new construction housing in the U.S.. What you said wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

"Well I never saw it happen so it must not be true. And if it does happen then there's no proof it's related to any problems."

One of the complete renovations I was working on had Mexican drywall crews come in (company owner was white) and at this point very toilet except one had been removed and water turned off in the house. The one that wasn't removed was on the third floor and still had a bit of water in the bowl since it wasn't drained.

This fucking beaner sees the water and thinks that it would flush the shit he took down into the sewer. Instead it got stuck in the piping in the basement and a poor white plumber is undoing a pipe and down comes shit Niagara falls. Of course the offending mexi-nigger didn't have to clean any of the mess he made up.

Not only that, the USA imports most of its fruits and vegetables from Mexico and Guatemala. In those countries and most of the rest of the world, it is common practice to irrigate crops with human wastewater (sewage). That's why when you go to a third world country they tell you not to eat fruits and vegetables unless they are thoroughly cooked.

I've seen Mexicans piss against a truck in the middle of a road in a neighborhood, I don't doubt they do this in a field with no one but others around doing the same.

Construction people do the same thing in your home before the drywall goes up.

Piss or worse in the corner. Rather than walk 150 feet. not even about the money. they're just lazy.

So i KNOW fieldworkers do it.

All harvest labor is like that. It's "piece work."

the owners put at edge of the field

Whether or not this has something to do with "American's not wanting these jobs" is apparently a mystery.

as that costs them time/money spent not packing lettuce.

It's also why children are effectively allowed to work in the fields as well. It's not just a job. It's a job your whole family can do!

rinse the shit off your hands in the ditch

A portable bucket toilet, with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and a box of nitrile gloves would be all it takes. Like $50/day worth of expenses.

When private equity buys farms or even just the producers the farms supply they half ass everything and this is the "trickle down" effect.

Wow. it’s true.

“Cyclospora is usually spread through:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables contaminated with human feces during growing or processing”

“For the species that causes human cyclosporiasis—Cyclospora cayetanensis—humans are the only confirmed natural host.”

I heard they shit on the food that they know is going to feed Americans out of spite against Americans. Americans are not very popular in this world. Mexicans especially hate Americans. So Americans should avoid everything coming from Mexico.

Americans should avoid everything coming out of Mexico, but more so because the cartels have their hands in everything there.

They found out it's the iceberg lettuce from Mexico that has Cyclospora.

I was told from an early age to wash my fruits and vegetables first, even presorted stuff. Do people not do this?

I still do this even when the pack come in plastic bags, and especially if just shitty string nets. I have no idea who has picked up the bag of apples or oranges before me, and no idea what was on their hands.

The oocysts are downright microscopic and are deposited in the folds of lettuce. Basically armor that clings despite pouring water and is resistant to vinegar and chlorine typically used to wash veggies.

Washing doesn't help get rid of parasites like cyclospora though.

What are you talking about that's organic fertilizer!

I guess it's a good thing I really don't eat raw veggies almost ever. I just cannot stand raw vegetables for whatever reason.
