This story has so many layers, and one thing I haven't seen addressed is the culpability of the Sihk community. The religious leaders are now saying they banned this guy from their church for fucking around with knives, but did they ever call the police? Or is this one of those "orthodox Jews police thenselves"-type situation, in which case they're still responsible?
If we're going to have policies allowing people (inevitably Sihks) to break the law due to religious considerations, the leaders of those religions need to be accountable for the actions of their adherents.
Fuck just deporting this guy and his family; ban Sihkism in the UK.
We should ban murder
Public execution of the murderer. Mandatory jail time followed by deportation and permanent ban of any of the ones who played with the evidence. Instead they are so worried about diversity I'm honestly surprised the guy got convicted at all.
