It is amazing as my main issue with slavery was it was inefficient, you relied on brute force than technical innovation to complete a task. Plus there's the issue of what to do with slaves AFTER you no longer need them.

These are people well to do enough that they retired comfortably with multiple vacations a year, from families where the poorest siblings are middle class.
