On the itinerary of millions of things that don’t need to exist, taxes on social security are near the bottom. This is just even more gibs for boomers who already receive the most gibs.
Its in line with Florida trying to remove property tax. Sounds great, probably is. But its ultimately only for the boomers because they are the only ones who benefit from it.
Funny enough it's actually only currently taxed (before anything Trump has claimed) on retirees with other income sources and even then it's not taxed fully. A lot of taxes are totally stupid, but this change is quite literally just a give to the ones who would need it the least.
