With Poland also retaken by non-Rightists, Hungary is practically the only European country that is even vaguely on 'our' (Orban's intransigent support for Israel aside) side (depending on how one sees Belarus, that might be the sole exception remaining, or there simply will be none remaining).
The pro-EU, non-Rightist forces (i.e. almost everyone non-Fidesz) came very close to defeating Fidesz last election. However, Marki-Zay ultimately wasn't their man of the hour.
Now Orban is up against the very suspicious Peter Magyar, who defects from Fidesz, joins an inactive party called TISZA, and is now somehow slated to win the election. Seems totally artificial.
I have noticed that some people who call themselves 'nationalists' are still anti-Orban. There were always some of these people, who accused him of being part-gypsy, corrupt, etc., but it seems clear to me that even Hungarian nationalists are being duped into believing that anti-Orban forces will somehow be better for Hungary.
These are the same kind of people whose Ukrainian analogues are intransigently anti-Russian, who mindlessly charged into the meat grinder as part of Azov Battalion on day one. Consequently, Ukrainian nationalism is practically wiped out, when they should have used the war as an opportunity to rid themselves of Zelensky and his kind and then conscripted all of the dumb degenerates in the country so that they could be thrown into the meat grinder instead. Now they're all dead while all the faggots and other weirdos are still alive - since they are able to avoid conscription - while every remaining normal man and his dog is being press-ganged into the Cuckrainian military. Such people represent a stupid side of nationalism.
How TISZA will be better for Hungary than some combination of Fidesz, KDNP (Fidesz ally), and Our Homeland (what's left of Jobbik's Right, with mainline Jobbik moving so far towards liberalism that the Rightist faction split off, possibly has also since gravitated towards a pro-Fidesz view) is anybody's guess. When these fools start trying to ban Fidesz, KDNP, and Our Homeland so that Rightist forces are effectively eliminated from politics, some of them will finally realize their folly too late.
I have wondered for years why it is that Orban is so intransigently pro-Israel? Does he think that the yids will somehow save him? Doesn't he know that the natural place of the yids is on the Left, and that they are only ever non-Left when the Left gets out of their control? Hence Greenblatt and others wanting to shift everything towards the Centre all of a sudden post-October 7 (the same Greenblatt who always bemoans the supposed rise of the 'Far-Right' while hypocritically making the extremely 'racist' claim that intermarriage between his kind and the goyim threatens the survival of his kind!). This is essentially a repetition of the yiddish Trotskyites (Bell, Glazer, etc.) becoming the neoconservatives when Stalin took the Left from their kind, with what was left of them returning to the Left when Trump began his meteoric rise to the presidency. If they can get the Left back under their control, you can rest assured such yids as Greenblatt complaining about the 'woke Left' will become 'woke Left' again. It will seem a big mystery to all those whom have not been observant of the past actions of such 'people'.
USAID funded organizations supported Peter Magyar. Jews are trying to remove Orban. When will people learn that supporting Jews never works in the long term?
Unlikely, as elections are pretty secure here. Single day voting, 6 am - 7 pm, have to show government issued photo ID, have to find your name in the printed voter roll, and sign it with your official signature.
That only prevents busing in “voters”. You can still fake the votes or rig the counting electronically as we saw in the 2020 election in the US. Yeah you can demand recounts but they’ve also been careful to rig the elections in such a way to keep them as close as possible to alleviate suspicion AND minimize the number of votes they have to shift in the count.
Plus you’ve got the problem of outright corrupt precincts. Seen in the US far too often. Like having one area have 120% of the population vote. Not registered voters. Population. Both parties certified that one without contest.
Ballots here are paper based and are hand counted. While I do not doubt that there was some cheating going on, I don't think it impacted the result much. Orban and his party has pissed off a lot of people and their opposition managed to motivate those people to actually go out and vote. Record breaking turnout shows that those that wanted Orban to win also got out in large numbers, but ultimately the other side had more people.
As a local, it does feel like more people want him and his party gone. I am in the capital, which has always been more left leaning, so that probably affects how I feel what the result will be. Him and his party are definitely more popular in the rural areas.
And last I checked Orban was known to also be incredibly corrupt.
The left and right are so hyperfixated on "Anti-USA" to the point they don't know that the opposition candidates are just mere lapdogs to a different master.
I meant more, how do you feel about the actual people who are demanding leftist globalism be forced on you and your people?
In the United States we're just about ready to start killing each other over it. The US has been almost completely deracinated and there is little fellowship left. I'm wondering if the same is true in Hungary.
People here are not at each other's throats over politics as badly as in the US.
We did get to the point where people do not really listen to each other when they talk, and that the media on both sides distorts reality to the point where it is difficult to know the truth, making people live in at least somewhat different realities.

"Lose", or have his election stolen?

record breaking voting huh...
You use electric voting tabulators?
Not really, paper based ballots and hand counting is the norm.
Sounds troubling... Orban may have been a kikesucker but he kept Hungary White and clean of sand nigger vermin...
When the devil wants to dance with you, you'd better say never. Cause a dance with the devil might last you forever.

Tbf he wasnt even that great to begin with. People here idolize him like that idiot in Argentina, but they are both trash. Same for De Traitoris.
And last I checked Orban was known to also be incredibly corrupt.
The left and right are so hyperfixated on "Anti-USA" to the point they don't know that the opposition candidates are just mere lapdogs to a different master.
I'm curious how you feel about those leftists?
If you mean Orban's opposition, first and foremost I have to wonder how they got so popular in what feels like a relatively short amount of time.
Knowing that the globohomo wants Orban gone makes me worried about what his potential loss would bring about.
He tried to go against faggotry and immigration and also had/has ties to putin. literally Hitler.
I meant more, how do you feel about the actual people who are demanding leftist globalism be forced on you and your people?
