Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)
Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the CO...
His word means nothing. Also Iran is still launching missiles lol.
Apparently the US made a deal with Iran but that didn't include israel lol
I think they've stopped all fighting for the time being.... Until israel launches another unhinged attack of course.
If it's true and the US accepted Iran's ten conditions for ceasefire then this is a total humiliating loss for the US (yet it's still the best deal we could hope for, and we should take the L and walk away, because it's the only way to avoid WW3)
Non-aggression
🔹 Continuation of Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz
🔹 Acceptance of enrichment
🔹 Lifting all primary sanctions
🔹 Lifting all secondary sanctions
🔹 Termination of all UN Security Council resolutions
🔹 Termination of all IAEA Board of Governors resolutions
🔹 Payment of compensation to Iran
🔹 Withdrawal of US combat forces from the region
🔹 Cessation of war on all fronts, including against the heroic Islamic Resistance of Lebanon
These are all non-starters for Israel. They won't give up Gaza or Lebanon, they won't allow an unsanctioned Iran, they won't accept enrichment. (Unless Likud was just ousted--I saw a tweet about a cluster of planes leaving Tel Aviv suddenly.)
Most likely this is a plan to buy time to set up a real ground invasion.
Thats one of the reasons that I dont believe this is real. They are going to stage a false flag or just outright carpet bomb a city in Iran.
Yep, see you in 2 weeks, 2 months, or whatever it ends up being (that US-Israel is comfortable attempting genocide again).
There's no way Israel would allow this. I'm confident Iran isn't stupid enough to not know this either. I'm assuming a ground invasion in 2 weeks.
Could just be them saving face.
This isn't even a new war, much less WW3. I would call it a battle in a war that simmers. Also, I'm not sure what Israel would do without Iran.
Literally, two weeks to calm the markets before the next round of bombing (realistically 2 days)
Iran’s tweet:
https://x.com/araghchi/status/2041655156215799821
“If attacks against Iran cease”
So our greatest ally can start the war at any second.
Really makes you wonder if there was some research done that found two weeks is the sweet spot between:
A week is too short to forget and a month is too long to ask?
Because it's clear from the repetition that there's a consistent strategy behind it. Wouldn't be shocked if that interval has some subconscious relationship to American common paycheck scheduling.
