There is a rumor circulating that the Americans tried to steal the Uranium during the now infamous "Rescue Operation”. Multiple AC-130s had to be torched, which is a lot for one man. Tax dollars on fire. (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

If that's the case, why would Iran's news corroborate the story and say it's also a rescue attempt?

Tax dollars on fire

That's nothing new, govt does not a give a fuck about the tax payer.

Iran's news

Which "news" are you talking about? Do you speak Farsi?

a lot for one man

Yeah, but still the only worthwhile dollar spent in this conflict.

If that's what they were doing. But men have a value on paper and that value is very low.

One of them was a colonel, so more value than normal values.

As for why he was there...well, it's part of the obvious fuckery afoot.

U.S. is at least partially lying, we'll have to continue to wait for the full truth to come out.

Its better for them to claim is was a rescue op on paper, because it works for recruitment. "No man left behind" and all that.

But if it was an op to steal the Uranium, then it was a massive failure because they had to torch the cargo planes and they dont want those optics.

The value of a downed pilot is very high, actually.

From that perspective the value is denying him to Iran. "Captured American pilot," would present them all sorts of propaganda and bargaining opportunities.

"steal" like Americans don't have their own? And "The uranium" what uranium? ESL moment.

The same USA government will take your son away and give him jewish manufactured puberty blockers and arrest you for not referring your son to his new female preferred pronoun. And the Supreme Court just re-legalized transgender surgeries for children. Pretending ZOG USA gives a fuck about you is a chump's errand.

Stealing can be "denying the enemy supplies."

If it didn't belong to you, then you stole it. This is basic English.

Yes, it's basic, like how a child would speak.

I read the Simplicius post too. He's off base here. Two C130s aren't nearly enough carry weight for the amount of uranium we're talking about here. If the objective was the fuel, they'd have been better off poisoning it with an unreactive element of some kind or just blowing it up, which doesn't take a massive raid to do.

There is no real scenario where they were attempting a bank robbery trying to carry uranium out on a pallet cart or something.

And that's just the logistics part of moving something that heavy, doesn't even begin to address that it's fucking radioactive. No rad suits or rad gear were claimed on the scene by either side. And the Iranians certainly have a good reason to say so if they'd caught us doing that.

It's only 900 lbs. of uranium, dude.

Sure. By itself. What about containment? Coolant? Rad suits? Or the fact that they brought half a company of spec ops guys they also still have to carry out of there?

Are they just carrying weapons grade uranium on a pallet jack in your scenario? I have four hazardous materials professional certifications dude, one of which is for radiological material.

Plain and simple. This did not happen. It wasn't even attempted. It would be beyond insane, actually it would be beyond cartoonish for this to have actually happened.

Shhh! Don't scare the lefties with things like logic, common sense & reasonableness! 😉

To claim THIS loss is harmful to taxpayers after the Biden Debacle? After the Obama Surrender? The Carter Chickenout? What a joke. I guess the goldfish will believe it though.

They may have been after something? But it wasn't uranium, they'd just blow that shiite to pieces if they knew where it was.

A captured pilot would be a propaganda coup for the Iranians. They would use him as a bargaining chip that would take many years to resolve.

Sure, but what are the cargo planes for? They didn't land tanks and ATVs.

In a final twist after the weapons officer was rescued, two transport planes that would carry the commandos and the airmen to safety got stuck at a remote base in Iran. Commanders decided to fly in three new planes to extract all the U.S. military personnel and the airman, and they blew up the two disabled planes rather than have them fall into Iranian hands.

They carried Little Bird helicopters that traveled to the actual rescue site.

Didn’t they murder every human who came within 3 kilometers of the downed pilot by drone?

No they did not. They appealed to local civilians and those people helped protect the downed airman (even though they didn't know where he was.) They blocked roads to keep the Guard out of the general area. They used the pretext of trying to find the airman & collect the "Precious Prize" offered by the Iranian gov't, some $60K bucks :p

They also launched "distraction searches" even though they knew exactly where he was. No one was killed by those either.
