“Rightwing channels have been allowed to spout dangerous climate lies, unchecked, for too long,” said a GLP spokesperson.

Watch what happens when accurate information is put forward which is verifiable.

There are lies, there are exaggerations, and then there is the vile cruelty of control from people who haven't stepped outside of their comforting social bubbles which are solely meant to polarise.

It's much more aggressive than any Chernobyl coverup.

Computers are a force multiplier for censorship. With the number of STASI agents they had in Berlin, they can censor and monitor the world using AI and social media controls.

Reason #196386 to ignore all climate change/global warming/Ozone Hole/etc fearmongering.

If they are so worried about the climate, why not actually invest into more nuclear power? If the world moved on to nuclear in 10-20 years when all the reactors are finished we would have almost zero pollution.

Because it has nothing whatsoever to do with climate, pollution or “sustainability”.

It’s about collapsing nations and creating a borderless, one-world communist utopia. Nothing else

*dystopia

FTFY

And I would probably say more of a neoliberalism-on-crack kind of society is their result, similar to the World Government from The Fire RIses.

Because this would solve the problem.

And they don't want a solution, they want more power over people

Climate can be solved with a "fix everything" button. MULTIPLE such buttons exist, even, and all of them fix everything.

A couple of the buttons come with downsides, it is true. But it is also true that they're doomsaying, and compared to certain doom, you press the fucking button.

Mass adoption of nuclear energy is the easiest button, the only "cost" is literal cost, and that's a temporary cost since long-term it is cheaper.

The "cost" of nuclear is endless regulations designed to intentionally kill nuclear.

In the UK I would be "a criminal". I wrote some scientific reports on the climate. Like this one

The effect of CO2 on climate is minimal, based on Physics. In practice it is neglectable. And in the past CO2-concentration has been much higher. ALL other effects are completely ignored.

But to create the idea of a global catastrophe, the agencies have been using statistical trickery to pretend that the climate is rising.
We see trickery and propaganda in every climate scare agency.

A famous one is using the correlation between CO2 and climate in ancient history. This correlation is caused by the CO2 being released from the oceans during hot weather (similar to how CO2 is released from warm soda or beer).
They don't tell you that vikings were harvesting hop on Greenland.

Another correlation is the usage of old measuring stations inside cities. Cities have been growing and they create a warmer local climate. This can make the local weatherman think that there is a global warming. To exaggerate this trend, the agencies have also altered or removed the existing data from stations outside cities.
And to make the trend last over many years, certain people inside the agencies have been altering the old temperature data downwards.

The politicians and the news papers have also overhyped the climate. Whenever a local weather event occurs, it is blamed on global warming. Tony Heller on real climate science has done a lot of small videos about this subject.

I wonder if this is less about environmentalism and more because the Starmer's government is REALLY hurting thanks to the Iran war showing how bad policies refusing to exploit north sea oil are?
