Women are more obsessed with height than dudes are.
It is indeed strange. And I see them say several things they think “intimidate weak men.” The reality is it’s still a woman, therefore not intimidating. This is in the same vein as troon obsession thinking if they play dress up and wear a costume to fake their height that suddenly it becomes reality.
Men are not intimidated by non-beautiful women.

But men also mistakenly do the same thing. Men are attracted to nice pleasant kind family oriented women, and they behave the same, thinking it attracts women.

That's the biggest reason but it's not the only one. We also know (or learn the hard way from experience) that not satisfying her hypergamy means a shittier relationship dynamic. The less desirable you are the more beta shit you'll have to do and it doesn't take much of that for the relationship to become a net negative in your life. Nothing is free in the sexual marketplace but some ways of paying suck a lot less than others.
if you're an average looking man like me you don't even get the chance to do beta shit for a woman, they refuse to settle for me no matter what and there's nothing I can do to change that.

We all know for a fact that weak men give women the ick, so it's not as though she's going to be in a relationship with him and somehow gain the upper hand. Men, at least, use intimidation to put themselves in a position of leadership and will then look out for those under them.

That's how I view women but my checklist criteria is only four bullet points and two of them are "must be female"

That is really all their is for a woman to snag any man. and women cant even do that. And even now, a lot of women forego the bait and switch, they cant even put in the effort to pretend to be cordial until she traps him.
