Same here in Australia. It's supposed to be some crisis that indigenous Australians keep dying in police custody, when "dying in police custody" includes things like "rammed a police roadblock on a motorcycle" and "shot after stabbing a police officer."

About 1% of people die every year. If you have a bunch of people in custody, a small percentage of them will die, per year. I know leftists don't understand math, and especially don't understand per capita; but do they really believe being in custody is supposed to grant people immortality?

They're all just getting free passes now. The left cries for due process. This would all be due process that any American would get for their crimes.
Think of it as an investment. We pay for judges, jails and guards now, then the illegal immigration rate plummets (because they get actual consequences instead of free passes), and the cost to our country goes down as we're not dealing with as many people abusing our systems and committing other crimes.

An ICE agent stayed with the child until C&F arrived. They (C&F and ICE) tried to bring the child to relatives, but they wouldn't open the door & refused to accept him.
If I was somewhere illegally, and a criminal on top of that? Why would I care about my kids? What career criminals do? Maybe don't be a criminal who is illegally in another country, has that thought ever occurred to you?
