I've tried! In many discussions tried to explain simple math, easily understood statistics. But NO they refuse to think about it.
Like: Joe has 10 apples, Ben has 50. The gov't takes 2 from Joe and 20 from Ben, leaving joe with 8 and Ben with 30. Who paid more taxes? (both 'rate' and 'total')
Leftist answer: Joe! He only has 8 apples left! 😜 (They were serious, they believed Ben should be taxed until he and Joe had the same number of apples. They weren't kidding or trolling, they actually believed this)
