Ridiculous but can’t say I’m surprised. Saddest thing is that she was so brainwashed that she thought she was fighting some great evil because a country chose to enforce its immigration laws

I wonder if the agent had been driven over and killed if there would be a moment of silence.

Of course not. If I recall there were no moments of silence for the people killed during summer of love. I remember a lefty getting angry with me for asking why they didn’t care about David Dorn. I then said oh yea he was a law abiding black man. You only care about black criminals who ignore instructions

I word the same idea differently: leftists are only pro-life after your first felony.

If that had happened, nobody would have even heard about it outside of circles like this.

It's another "Hands up, don't shoot" moment.

Sports leagues love to latch on to these for leftist causes.

As I've said, I wish she hadn't died. I don't cheer any deaths, and I don't like when law enforcement kills Americans.

But the lionization is absurd, and any sane person in that position (well, they wouldn't have been in that position to begin with) would not have been killed.

Did she "deserve" to die? Not in my opinion. Was she the primary cause of her own death? Absolutely.

This is another instance of someone fucking around, and finding out. I wish they hadn't fucked around, and I wish they hadn't found out...but they fucking did. Stop doing that, and you stop dying, like 99% of the time.

If you watch police bodycam channels on YouTube, you quickly learn that the younger generations literally don't think they have to listen to cops. Young women in particular seems to think that their subjective "lived experiences" of "fear" and "unsafety" somehow trump police authority. This notion is both wrong and retarded. Claiming to be scared or to feel unsafe is absolutely not a legitimate reason to disobey law enforcement if they are giving you a lawful order. You're not allowed to refuse a police officer's order to exit your vehicle because you're "scared" (of the consequences of breaking the law). You're definitely not allowed to flee the scene of your crime, threatening to run down a police officer in the process, because you're "panicking" (about going to jail).

The brainwashing done to young people is amazing. Like that lady who was shot by ICE thought she was fighting literal gestapo agents. To be that brainwashed that you think enforcing immigration laws is some grave evil is beyond sad

Anyone who claims that cops are just violent unhinged gangs of unaccountable people, would never be crazy enough to antagonize cops the way that pinko protestors do.

No such thing as a 110 lbs soy boy in a beanie and $300 jeans screaming at a member of the Gangster Disciples, yelling about how "I'll kill you!" and "You're a fucking bitch!" and "We know where you live!", and surviving that encounter.

If a violent thug with a gun starts ordering you around, if you don't have a gun of your own, your safest response is "Yes, sir" and "okay, boss".

I'm posting about a pastor (Black) who was arrested for... watering his neighbor's flowers. He told them his name & explained what he was doing, but they DEMANDED ID and he didn't have any on him. So they cuffed & charged him.

He explains that he knew the cops were wrong, but followed instructions without resistance anyhow, believing the courts would sort it out & they did, sort of.
They threw the charge out, he sued but the cops got "immunity". Now it's in front of the Alabama Supreme Court questioning if cops have the right to demand ID or not.
You may think the US Supremes dealt with this ages ago? But no, there's still "questionable" laws in many States that leave it "open to interpretation" somehow.

TL:DR? If you comply with cops, even if they are idiots, you don't get shot.

From the headline I figured she was a furry and her gay orgy group was mourning losing one of the pack.

Actual story is even more ridiculous.

She was a lesbian with 3 kids. She had left the US for Canada after Trump was elected, but soon came back. She moved from Colorado to Minnesota specifically to work for an anti-ICE group and was a paid, professional domestic terrorist. One of the ringleaders too.

Basketball is my favorite sport in the world, and has been for over 30 years.

It hurts me to see what the NBA's become.

I know some here will dismiss sports but for some of us there's childhood memories and times with our fathers. My favorite sport is baseball and my dad taking me to games are directly tied to some of my best memories of him.

That's why intellectually I try to seperate myself from "sportsball" but it's difficult to walk away

I get it. I myself haven't followed the NBA for some time now.

But my love for the sport itself may never go away, regardless of what that league does.

I have seen how great it once was, and can be again.

Does that make any sense?

No need to stop enjoying sports.....just put it in perspective...

Spectator sports is one of many aspects of modern Western culture that has become increasingly more juvenile and vulgar over the past 50 years.....and at the same time....more preening and self important

The same applies to movies....TV..... popular music..... advertising......and most unfortunately.....how strangers interact with each other in public...with more cursing....more road rage....and a general "cultural slumming" mentality.....where everyone aspires to act ghetto.....to show how hip they are

The political stuff is purposely added to the mix to excuse all the vulgarity and childishness......this moment of silence by the Timberwolves is a good example......"let's pay our respects to a Left wing activist who's on the 'right side of history'...and then let's get back to dancing like monkeys and making gang signs if the camera shows you on the big screen during a timeout"
