Anything can be a waifu if you're autistic enough.

How could you say that about the incredibly sexy Sonic The Hedgehog?

(Link is SFW, it’s a letter to the editor of a 90s gaming magazine.)

The response is such a weird mix of mocking and progressive, I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It's wild that even back then some people had trouble just saying "no, fuck off, LOL!" Am I missing a joke? This just seems pathetic.

Hedging is some of the weakest behavior imaginable, and I cringe every time I see it, and cringe every time I catch myself starting to doing it. Just...never do it. "I believe in women's empowerment"...no, stop. "I don't agree with everything Person X says BUT..." no, stop.

there is a rather suprising number of female furrioids who are into sonic or shadow

infact its one of the franchises where there an almost even split between female fans (40%) and male fans (60%)

though according to data, most of the fan-art communities for sonic comes from femoids and faggots (non-binary troons)

I for one am glad the AI did not put tits on Sonic. We'd be just 3 steps away from Sonichu at that point

Sonic can be pregnant, which is why I don't go near his fandom.

Sega seems to agree.

Very nice, I like the comic book style, and the dynamic pose.

I'm fast like Sonic too!

Mine:

Sonic 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5

1 and 2 are solid, art style is cool on 3, 4 is derpy but I love the pose (I get JoJo 'oh you're approaching me' kinda vibes), and 5 is missing a ring but I like the bright style and the outfit.

Wow cool, your models cranked out five rings no problem! 3 looks like a take on the movie art style.

By the time I got an output that made sense, I realized I didn't have any Christmas stuff in the picture. Oh well. Gold rings are gold rings.

  • The Fourth Day of Christmas: Weiss and four calling birds
  • The Third Day of Christmas: Aerith and three French hens
  • The Second Day of Christmas: Revy and two turtle doves
  • The First Day of Christmas: Vivian James and a partridge in a pear tree
  • Christmas Eve: Santa Samus

What is the point of these AI images? What are we supposed to get out of these posts?

Celebrating the Twelve Days of Christmas and encouraging AI art development

Why does AI art development need to be encouraged? Everyone is already doing it and giving big tech all their data.

Because it's a powerful artistic tool. As far as giving personal data, I'm not sure how art inputs would do that. I suppose they could measure the popularity of a given character or franchise, but looking at online activity would give them the same thing.

Why does a powerful artistic tool need to be encouraged? People already know it exists and use it if that's what they want to do.

It's common for websites to track mouse movements and keystroke patterns. Your prompts also tell them what subjects you're interested in, what art styles you prefer, your writing style, how you use their tools and more.

Nothing "needs" to be encouraged, but it's helpful if it is. Artistic communities foster more and better art.

It's common for websites to track mouse movements and keystroke patterns.

You could literally say this about the entire internet. Are you going to log off?

Your prompts also tell them what subjects you're interested in, what art styles you prefer, your writing style, how you use their tools and more.

And this is a problem? Again, you could get the same information sampling fan communities.

As far as writing style, forums like this, Twitter, and reddit are far more helpful in programming LLMs than art inputs that aren't even written in full sentences. Our writing is 100% public my nigga.

I avoid big tech as much as possible - they're the ones that can do real damage with your data. I'd leave the internet if it wasn't required for many things these days.

And this is a problem? Again, you could get the same information sampling fan communities.

Yes because it's about you specifically. They also have your browser fingerprint so they'll recognize you when you show up on another account or another website they're associated with. This has great potential for censorship, subtle manipulation, denial of services and tying in to digital ID.

Posting on this forum is one of the most unnecessary activities there is. You think your data is any safer here?

Yes because it's about you specifically. They also have your browser fingerprint so they'll recognize you when you show up on another account or another website they're associated with. This has great potential for censorship, subtle manipulation, denial of services and tying in to digital ID.

Again this applies to every fan activity on the internet, not AI specifically. So your message is to stop participating in anything on the internet. I disagree.
