Because it's a powerful artistic tool. As far as giving personal data, I'm not sure how art inputs would do that. I suppose they could measure the popularity of a given character or franchise, but looking at online activity would give them the same thing.

Why does a powerful artistic tool need to be encouraged? People already know it exists and use it if that's what they want to do.

It's common for websites to track mouse movements and keystroke patterns. Your prompts also tell them what subjects you're interested in, what art styles you prefer, your writing style, how you use their tools and more.

Nothing "needs" to be encouraged, but it's helpful if it is. Artistic communities foster more and better art.

It's common for websites to track mouse movements and keystroke patterns.

You could literally say this about the entire internet. Are you going to log off?

Your prompts also tell them what subjects you're interested in, what art styles you prefer, your writing style, how you use their tools and more.

And this is a problem? Again, you could get the same information sampling fan communities.

As far as writing style, forums like this, Twitter, and reddit are far more helpful in programming LLMs than art inputs that aren't even written in full sentences. Our writing is 100% public my nigga.

I avoid big tech as much as possible - they're the ones that can do real damage with your data. I'd leave the internet if it wasn't required for many things these days.

And this is a problem? Again, you could get the same information sampling fan communities.

Yes because it's about you specifically. They also have your browser fingerprint so they'll recognize you when you show up on another account or another website they're associated with. This has great potential for censorship, subtle manipulation, denial of services and tying in to digital ID.

Posting on this forum is one of the most unnecessary activities there is. You think your data is any safer here?

Yes because it's about you specifically. They also have your browser fingerprint so they'll recognize you when you show up on another account or another website they're associated with. This has great potential for censorship, subtle manipulation, denial of services and tying in to digital ID.

Again this applies to every fan activity on the internet, not AI specifically. So your message is to stop participating in anything on the internet. I disagree.
