Judge Sara West said she thought there were reasonable interpretations of the circumstantial evidence other than guilt. It seems to me that when the jury found the defendant guilty, they didn't think so. They deliberated for four hours, which is not an inconsequential amount of time and other interpretations were almost certainly discussed.
I'm no legal expert, but even while giving West the benefit of the doubt I can't see how her reasoning is sufficient to overturn the verdict. I would think judges have that discretion in only very limited circumstances.

You see this kind of shit happening all over the nation, we have a widespread problem with compromised DA’s, prosecutors and judges, there are so many out there who are working against us that it can’t be happening naturally. Idk if it’s a freemasonry initiative, that’s my guess, but something is going on because there’s no way over the last 5 years or so there are that many people running our justice and judicial system who want the worst of repeat criminals to be back out on the streets even after they commit a serious crime unless they’re taking orders from somewhere else and being told they must help create as much chaos as possible.
