There are more organ failures & other things like cancer & Alzheimer's because people live longer. 100 years ago lots of people would have died of other things long before they turned 80. Even an infected scratch could kill you. Add to that the processed food, smoking & drinking and other poor lifestyle choices & modern people just get sick more often.

Not for any reason, no matter how many times they called. No excuse they came up with got me back in that office because I said ,"No." They had no more reason to talk to me.
Then it happened to me again when I tried to just call, and tell them to take me off the list of people that were a possibility for the patient they were trying to assist, and they once again did everything they could to get multiple organs I'm still using! This seems to be SOP, and I'm not ever going to be involved in that shit. Not even a polite decline is enough, so they won't even get that!
