'Asian' now encompasses far too many peoples. It could mean Japanese, Chinese, Pakistanis or Indians. These are all very different things. The word has been purposefully diluted as to be almost meaningless as they use it, just the same as any other word they get their claws on.
Where, when, and how did "Oriental" become a slur anyway? Not once did I ever see it used as an insult. Never in the present. Never in the past. Never in any kind of story or historical document. It's like some language-controlling asshole, most likely a self-hating White or a "fellow White," just flipped a switch one day and said it's offensive now and we can't ever say it anymore.
Honestly, I would classify Asia as having 2 distinct "cultures": Orientals and Goat Fuckers. Yes, Japan and China has distinct cultures, but they're still similar enough to be classified together, much how western European countries are often classified together.
Just because you are too blind to be able to distinguish between the Asian races doesn't mean they look the same. To say Asians are physically the same is like saying Europeans are physically the same.
I can just as easily distinguish Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and SEA Asians as I can distinguish Germans, Spaniards, Italians and Slavs. I can even distinguish English/Brits from Scandinavians. Or French from German. Or Polish from Russian.
Yeah i can distinguish diff asians about 75% of the time, its a bit easier as an asian. At the very least, you can distinguish north and south asians. North asians often have the squinty eyes and singlr eyelids. They are usually taller and lighter skin.
Physically yeah. It’s not very obvious though because you can be mistaken for Korean or japanese when you’re Chinese but it’s much harder to mistake a thai or filipino for Chinese jap korean

I miss when we could just use "Oriental," since it was a useful, descriptive word.

Culturally. Physically? No. That's why they all hate each other.

South is opposite.
It's about the genetics. Not about your completely standard ability to tell races apart by eye.
Are you seriously suggesting that Asians (or even just East Asians) are genetically indistinguishably from each other?
That because you’re Asian and will never be a white.
Sucks to be you.
I'm Asian because I can recognize physical patterns in the looks of people? You sure you want that to be your insult?

Blame the Ancient Greeks for call everything on the other side of the Dardanelles from Europe, Asia
They called it the near East, Middle East, and far East for that reason.
You disgusting Turk.
Retake Constantinople.
