Where, when, and how did "Oriental" become a slur anyway? Not once did I ever see it used as an insult. Never in the present. Never in the past. Never in any kind of story or historical document. It's like some language-controlling asshole, most likely a self-hating White or a "fellow White," just flipped a switch one day and said it's offensive now and we can't ever say it anymore.
