Because 28% of the public still get their news from Jimmy Kimmel or rough equivalents, which is precisely why he should have been pulled off of public broadcast airwaves for brazenly lying about the material facts in the Charlie Kirk assassination. But leftists rallied around his apparent first amendment right to abuse public broadcast for deliberate misinformation, and so the media manipulation marches on.
