Social media has really allowed the rapid proliferation of all the stuff the media used to cover up. I don’t think there’s going to be any more slow boiling of the frog at this point.
"Unrestricted" social media that is. While X isn't as free as it could be it's nowhere near as bad as it was prior to Elon buying it. This kind of story would have been just as hidden back then.
The visibility of these stories does not seem to be moving the political needle. I'm not sure it actually matters.
