Dobson seems to have turned his life around. He's making stylish Mario and Link animations under a new name, hasn't sperged out about anything yet, and people only found out it's him because they connected the dots regarding his paypal account and some details in the animations.

Dobson was always a "safe" bet.
Like, his opinions were stupid and he was volatile about them, but his fetish for lesbians is downright vanilla and his takes were mostly SJW standard fare. Everything outside that was just him being lazy and bad at reading a room.
It says a lot that despite being one of the biggest lolcows of his era, with everyone constantly going at him, literally nothing of real "controversy" ever came up besides his dogshit political takes and hypocrisy. No grooming, no ERPing, no secretly calling people niggers. Just a LARP as a lesbian girl back in his younger days and a secret inflation fetish (hilarious, but I think most people have one shameful fetish of their own).
He really puts into perspective how bad things have gotten. Where he used to be a huge deal that people were obsessed with him, now we have millions of guys exactly like him and the ones who stand out are the ones convincing kids to mutilate themselves or paying for videos of baby monkey torture.
He was a competent artist. He’s just not blessed with much imagination. Even this thing is animation is very reliant on key art from the game manual. Left to his own devices, his idea of biting satire is to have a black lesbian kick a white woman while shouting “lesbian kick!” There was nothing in his mind besides a pastiche of liberal talking points and pent up anger.
His cringey whiteknight revenge-fantasy comic was borderline Chris-chan tier (just with better art as you said.)

It looks like Dobson is trying to develop an anonymous portfolio so that he can get a job before his parents die, and then use any reputation he builds up to shield himself from criticism if he does get his real identity openly exposed.
Wow, that's actually good. Good for him. He was always so hung up on that era of videogames, it's good to hear that he's turned himself around. Even if he's an artist that lacks imagination, creating pastiches is a good way to put his talents to good use.
