The seller presumably knows how much thermal costs, and he knows his own fucking coupon system so he’s the biggest retard for letting it happen in the first place.
Its most likely an automated system for whatever checkout system he’s using. Probably didn’t set the criteria well enough or couldnt due to limitations on the software
You mean he used something someone else built to run his operation and make money? And then didn't look into making sure it was fully functional to what he thinks it should be before throwing it out there?
Sure sounds like low trust, nigger Jew behavior by the logic being espoused around here.
thats how most commerce works. you think most stores and businesses build their own point of sale systems? write their own inventory program? I'm sure he thought the coupon shouldn't be eligible but whether that made it down to whoever is managing the pos system and was implemented is another thing.
It was sarcasm. Its a youtube channel about being ultra-prepared macho men, but they still outsourced or bought someone else's shop system and then did minimal of their own effort to make sure it was doing things they wanted it to do.
And then whined like Jews about losing their shekels when someone else accidentally paid less using it, acting like niggers by bullying the guy into giving them more money.
And you want a society filled with niggers and jeets as a result. “If you don’t make something bulletproof, it’s your fault” is the argument of a lazy stupid person. You might as well smear shit on yourself and start shitting in the streets, because that is 100% low trust society third world behavior.
I don't know the exact details here, but I'm guessing it went down something like this.
"Here's a coupon for 30% off one item"
*Adds OEM reselling of items instead of just stickers and patches*
"I would like to use my 30% coupon on this one item."
"Wait, that item only has a 2% margin. I'll loose money!"
That's not rules lawyering. That's not scamming. That's no sort of abuse at all. Business owner fucked up and is blaming the customer. It's not some obscure corner case or technicality. That someone buying from his store can read his mind and determine his intentions is not a reasonable expectation.
Now since he's gone and publicized it, he does have to worry about the people you're complaining about because he's retroactively changing the terms of the coupon he gave out, which might actually be a problem. Shit might have never occurred to them, but others will try to insist he honors it.

Then why didn’t the customer warn him instead of trying to get the discount. This isn’t Cabelas or Bass pro shops. Apparently this is a foreign concept to most people here but a high trust society goes both ways.
Why did the customer use a coupon I gave him and expect it to do exactly what I said it would do? Why didn't the customer intuit that I was bad at this and run my business for me?
Are you fucking serious? The way this played out was high trust. Seller honored his own agreements and fixed his mistake. Once buyer was aware seller was retarded, he donated to seller's fund to make it right. That's about as high-trust as you can get. No one took advantage, everyone honored their agreements. The seller playing victim on Twitter instead of just saying, "coupons aren't valid on these items," is the only part of this that wasn't ideal.
Edit: That and the cringe "bullying works" post instead of just giving thanks for the donation.
You're twisting yourself in knots to avoid just admitting that the guy made a shit business decision and threw a tantrum over his own lack of business savvy.
If making yourself abuse proof is your definition of business savvy, then you deserve the low trust society you live in. Again, just smear shit on yourself and start pooping in the street, that’s the society you want.

We already live in a society filled with niggers and jeets. This retard not knowing how coupons work doesn’t have anything to do with that.
Cool story jeet, go back to shitting yourself.
Not until your Grandma sends me those Google Play cards.

This is on the level of making sure that you spend less on the lemons than you sell the lemonade for.
