I still do not understand how IMC keeps being relevant again and again.
He isn't tied to anything notable, his history is wide open and toxic from every political angle thanks to his constant side switching, and he is an ugly, squat little Asian monkey. Literally nothing to offer anyone of anything, and his insights are the most basic nonsense on top of it.
But every year he manages to keep getting his name in headlines as if he is politically important.
He's a natural born grifter. Once you manage to get a following on social media your past and sometimes even present doesn't matter as long as you're saying what your audience wants to hear. Mark Kern/Grummz is another good example for that particular type of person.
That one is easy. For all his talents and success, Elon is still socially inept in several ways and desperate to be liked. IMC is a brown noser of the highest caliber. “Rich guy and sycophant” is a classic pairing, and out of the rich guys today, Elon might be one of the most obviously vulnerable to sycophants. That’s probably part of why he likes jeets so much as well.
I think it's literally his life, like most of these other grifters at least have some form of private, personal life. But for him dick sucking and shit stirring e-celebs on X seems to be his true social life.
I get why he is the way he is. It somehow keeps paying his bills.
My confusion is why people keep going "Yes that guy, he is worth talking to." Like, his only contribution to anything was running a dead end gaming site a while back, and has otherwise been a laundry list of controversies every year.
We are living in an era where Right Wingers are getting extremely polarized among each other along racial lines, so in what world does a Malaysian "literally using the word" former Nazi fit in for anyone's agenda? How does his offensively ugly face help anyone's brand or sell their political message?
Maybe the other guy is right and its all just Deep State nonsense. That's the only way it makes sense.
They decided they needed some sheep dipped "right wing influencers" for the next phase of their mission. He happened to be at the top of the analytics when they did this particular round of hiring.
As long as he keeps his personal life private and doesn't reveal too many bad habits or mistakes he still has usefulness and therefore a job.
