how'd the 2nd amendment help the J6 protestors? or literally anyone during the summer of love? or prevent large parts of the country being annexed by Mexico?
You're kidding right? There was a reason that the rioting and looting was contained to "gun free zones" in liberal shitholes. It's the same reason "Try that in a small town" was a viral hit song at the same time. It's because everybody in the country knows that if you pull that shit outside of the cities, you will end up getting shot.
I make this point to American's all the time. The 2nd amendment is just like the rest of them, it's a fucking piece of paper.
In order for a firearm to protect you, you have to brandish it, that is threaten to kill someone, or actually kill someone.
It doesn't matter that Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty. The process is the punishment. His life that he had before is over, he was lucky in that he has some credit and capital to use as a result of it.
The 2nd amendment is merely a static defensive structure in a strategic culture war. You think that "try that in a small town" is somehow a win without realising "a small town" is all you have left.
"Try that in your nations capital, or anywhere in America" is what the song should be.
You have your guns but you're losing everything else.
The worst part of the 2nd amendment is that it deludes American's into thinking that there somehow doing better than the rest of the Western World.
Just to clarify it's overwhelmingly a good thing, I wish it was everywhere in the western world, but it's not a magic totem that wards off evil in itself.
The J6 were set up by the FBI. They were there for peaceful protest, so not one of them had a gun. The Antifa and FBI agents didn't bring guns either since they knew they didn't need them.
Mexico isn't annexing anything. They're just flooding the USA with their undesirables, thinking that will make their communist shit-hole better somehow.
To annex is to add that territory to your nation. To re-draw the borders. Mexico isn't going to re-draw the Rio Grande's border, ever. The Mexicans who came there, legally OR illegally, do NOT want to live in Mexico!

they stopped pretty quick after rittenhouse.
No the election stopped blm riots.
Yeah, a gun only allows you to be judged by twelve instead of carried by six.
Which is obviously better, but still mostly cope.

That's what annexing is, having your people live there and turning other countries into your country.

But the land is full of mexicans. Ergo it's more Mexico than the USA. Ditto with Minnesota and somalians.
