Canada is lost. We can only cut the living Provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan and maybe Manitoba) away from the cancer (Ontario, Quebec, BC and the Maritimes) before the whole nation goes "Yugoslavia" on us.
A then 17 year-old brought a gun to school & shot 2 people, one died. Apparently there was a fight & the dead student was wielding a knife. Apparently it was all on video.
There's still 2 reasons for hope:
there's separate "weapons charges" going to trial soon.
there is NO "double jeopardy" in Canada. He can be charged 2, 3 or more times for the exact same crime.
I have little to zero hope though; his skin colour and TOTAL embargo by Canada's national Media means few will hear about it.
Conservatives mostly, at least sometimes. They also have strong economies & oil too.
SK and MB often elect the Unionist "NDP" Party though, and spend years under the worst form of socialism filled with graft, corruption and special interest groups raking in millions.
Alberta elected the NDP once... it nearly bankrupted them.
Anyhow, the only Province in Canada that pays INTO the system is Alberta. All the rest are leeches.
My city, in my school at the time, had a very early school shooter.
He killed his rival, and planned to kill the teacher too, then every student he could until he ran out of 12 gauge shells. Then he had 1 in his shirt pocket to kill himself.
But his gun jammed, so he put it down & took a bus home.
He was 17 and was raised to adult court by a newly passed (at the time) law. However? He really was insane. After treatment he now lives under supervised parole for the rest of his life.
