Prof in username, guess he keeps moving left out of either fear of losing his useless job or because the left is the only way he can grift a larger budget for whatever useless crap he’s pandering to students. Magically the more a field becomes dependent on government gibs the more leftist it becomes.

Trump did cut some of the budget of some of the weather tracking agencies, which might just be bloat that needed it or an accidental casualty of all the other government cuts.
But they are using it to grandstand that Trump killed all those kids in Texas, and will be responsible when FEMA intentionally or incompetently sabotages some hurricane responses later this year.
Those cuts don't take affect until October. There was warning in Texas, but nobody knew just how fast it would flood because predictions only go so far.
The left's moral compass is now completely broken, and they'll do anything to attack the right and Trump. Who cares about grandstanding on dead children?
