I like his AIPAC stance too, but he made a number of unforced errors that made it easy to create a wedge between him and Trump, and they've probably doomed his political career and his ability to fight against foreign lobbyists effectively. I'd love to talk to the guy and ask what on Earth he was thinking, there.

This. Massie is a lot like Paul. One of the few in congress with principals, but comes with the flaw of letting perfect be the enemy of good.
Could give them a bill that fixed 90% of the issues in the US but increased debt by $10 and they might still vote no on it.
But since most bills and spending that hit the floor are dogshit, they're right more often than they're not.
