I googled and found that sport franchises/teams get lots of tax breaks. As far as MLB itself, I didn't find a lot of clarity on that in the first page of results. I'd assume they would though.
Baseball is the sport with the "not suspicious at all" large amount of Latino dudes in it, averaging around 1/3 of all major leagues and nearly half of all minors. On top of the players themselves, a huge money source for the entire industry probably comes from the people getting deported coming to support one of their own more than any other sport.
"In a city where 36% of the residents are immigrants and nearly 40% of the team's fan base is Latino, saying nothing is not just disappointing not as profitable.
"New" euphemism just dropped, and one far too apt for this to not be a simulation.
Haven't watched a game since they put Black Lives Matter on the mounds during the Summer of George.

The only baseball worth giving any time or money to is your local minor league team. MLB has been overpriced crap for decades.
