Most tickets and (nearly?) all luxury boxes are bought and written off as a "reasonable business expense" by businesses as a fringe benefit/bribe opportunity.
I googled and found that sport franchises/teams get lots of tax breaks. As far as MLB itself, I didn't find a lot of clarity on that in the first page of results. I'd assume they would though.
So, doesn't the MLB get big tax breaks from the gov?
