True or not, it's interesting that you are questioning the viability of a camera being nearby. I mean there are pictures of Queen Victoria and the American Civil War, but a photo of a well in 2025 is a crap shoot
Thing is, you need someone in Africa, in relative proximity to a MrBeast well, with internet access, with a camera, to see and care enough about this claim to help back up MrBeast.
The fact that they needed to build a well nearby in the first place makes finding such a person somewhat unlikely, I would think.
I think the data is deficient in Ethiopia though, because my past inklings were that it had better internet than most in the region, at least in the cities.

I would say English language literacy, or literacy at all is more unlikely than not having internet.
Some countries in the interior of Africa are like 20% literate.
Last mile of internet in the third world is usually cellular.
