Was hoping they would elect that African cardinal since he is very traditional. Don’t get the open borders mindset. As a Christian I know we should help those in need but if I keep inviting people to stay at my place eventually I’ll be overrun and despite my noble intentions I will quickly run out of resources. You allow millions of people into a country, it will definitely not be a good thing

Haha, perish the thought. For woke liberals, especially elites in Europe, especially cardinals, Africans are nothing but tools to destroy Europe and show how virtuous they are. They would never actually put one in charge. It would be unthinkable.

Didn’t think of that. I only knew that African cardinal was the most traditional but you are right

Eh, in this case, I'd say it would be okay. Actual Africans (outside of a few countries), won't take the woke pill. I think that guy was from Nigeria. They aren't putting up with any of that. Lefty types would love to see a black Pope right until they see what he thinks. Most African countries will literally burn alive any one is even suspected of being a homosexual (Necklacing.) Not saying that's great, but it is a demonstration on how far they go. It's like Muslims throwing gays off roofs. They just don't care.

I'm not Catholic, so my opinion can be disregarded, but as a Born-Again Christian this does matter to me.

Your neighbour is someone who lives next to you in the same community, not someone an NGO has transplanted next to you.

Christ was very clear on His policy regarding physical removal of moneychangers.

Second, what the Catechism describes as the ability of political authorities to “make exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions” does not mean that all regulations and limitations on immigration are just. In the same sentence, such regulation is qualified as “for the sake of the common good,” and earlier in same section, the Catechism teaches that “more prosperous nations are obliged, to the extent they are able, to welcome the foreigner in search of the security and the means of livelihood which he cannot find in his country of origin” and to protect a guest as a matter of natural right (No. 2241).

Then flood the Vatican with immigrants. America has more debt than any other country in existence, we are not more “prosperous”.

In the U.S. bishops’ conference helpful overview of Catholic social teaching on migration, they explain that the right of people to migrate, including for economic reasons, and the right of countries to control their borders must be harmonized in mercy and justice. Therefore, they say, “A nation may not simply decide that it wants to provide for its own people and no others.” This means that it cannot be enough for someone who wants to seriously engage Catholic teaching to say they support legal immigration without also evaluating the justice of the highly restrictive legal conditions the U.S. currently imposes on immigration, especially of low-skilled workers coming across the southern border. (A 2017 article in America sketched an outline of what a more just legal scheme for immigration might look like from a Catholic perspective.)

Funny how they left out the responsibility of the “migrant” listed here:

Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants' duties toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.

These heretics refuse to acknowledge that the migrants are not upholding their responsibilities because they know it invalidates our “responsibility” to them.

The narrative of criminality has been a core part of Mr. Trump’s political rhetoric since he began his presidential campaign in 2015, describing immigrants from Mexico as bringing drugs and crimes and being rapists. The church’s concern about this is not new. In 2016, bishops were expressing concern about Mr. Trump’s villainization of immigrants, and the editors of America were warning about the dangers of nativist prejudice and hatred.

Time to conquistador central/South America again then. If their big argument is migrants can do whatever the fuck they want despite Vatican doctrine saying otherwise then it’s time to take central and South America away from the Hispanics.

Not just immigrants but hard-core muslims. Lets see what happens.

Italy is already swarmed under. I can see the day coming when the head Imam of Rome blows a hole in the wall around the Vatican and torches St. Peter's Basilica.

Fuck that faggot. The Vatican is small, but it has plenty of room to house at least a few thousand of the people he claims to support. Just another hypocrite who pretends to be a caring person but really he's just a power hungry cunt.

There was simply no way anyone who wasn't a globalist would become pope. Everything else was just wish-casting.

I've found that South American views on Christian Theology etc. tend to be unbiblical and very liberal. So this was no surprise that he's Francis 2.0.

Because it's overwhelmingly culturally "Christian" with a good helping of indigenous spiritualism aka paganism

I'm sorry Catholic bros, but your church has been a cesspit of corruption for a long time now.

You can keep the faith, the traditions, the values, the ceremonies... but ffs, ditch the corrupt administrative institution that has been parasitizing on you for centuries. Stop financially supporting it.

We really need another "Great Schism" to jettison these nuts.

Barring that. If you're Catholic, stop giving them money. And with your local parish form a parishioner committee to pay the daily bills. Don't give them even one penny more than operating costs to kick up to the diocese or the Vatican.

Starve the beast. And if they're going to get involved with politics like pressing for illegal immigration? Remove their tax exemption.
