If they actually win, they need to dismantle the entire system that was used to cancel the election first time around.

You overestimate how weak Romanians are. When the immigrant crisis started Romania said no but then folded to Merkel in the course of a day.

Looking at how Romanians are makes you think about the 1989 revolution. They simply don't seem to have the balls to start such a thing on their own.

This is misleading. The "far right" won the first round, meaning they qualified for second round. They don't need to do anything extreme again.

My guess it will be the classical:

  1. fear-mongering of "alt-right extremism", nazis, racists, misogynism etc Since it is Europe, I assume it is also anti-European values - like that muslim colony has any values.

  2. Galvanize everyone against the alt-right and the globalist puppet will win.

Next step: mass immigration and censorship to avoid "threats to democracy"

fear-mongering in Romania has almost no power outside of the capital. all the young people who to go university there do get scared and start voting for druggies and whores, but most everyone else sees the charade for what it is and votes the guy that seems least fake.

what they do is actually strong-arm people into voting for lefties. they get entire villages drunk then cart them off to voting stations and if you're one of the couple people who didn't tag along in that village they know you probably voted "wrong" and start singling you out for aggression.

This is what happened the first time before cancelling the election right when the diaspora was already voting for the 2nd round(polling stations outside the country open on friday and remain open until Sunday at 9PM local time or 9PM Romanian time whichever is sooner).

But I think they'll just rig the elections like the good old times. They can't afford to cancel them again, even if the EU would approve of the maneouver

Is it worth rigging? Isn't it enough to fear monger all the "opposition" parties - aka uniparty - against them?

We may see a repeat of the 2022 Brazilian Presidential election. You know, the one where Lula got more votes than Bolsonaro every time after the second count of votes, an event with only a 1/200.000.000.000 likelyhood of happening. How do we know the odds so accurately? Because it happened in both rounds of the Presidential election, of course!

(What I'd really like to see is for Far Right-guy to win, then appoint the banned Far Right-guy as Prime Minister.)

The sad part is, this has been happening everywhere for so long, many think it is Democracy.

Blame Russia at minimum, I don't think they have the balls to blame Trump or Vance like western European establishment do.

Looking at the fact that there's yet another runoff on May 18th, my guess is "rig the ballots and cheat as much as they possibly can in the runoff". Or just find some excuse to overturn this election and declare Simion ineligible to run.

Ballots won't remove them.

If they are smart, they will need to butter up the Trump administration and promise to co-operate on trade, immigration, and military spending without making it too obvious (and possibly telling Trump not to talk too much shit on Twitter).

Romania is corrupt as hell. Make a right-wing government a position of strategic importance for the State Department. They need to get friends with deep pockets (like the Americans) to buy out the "center right" who are stopping them, so that they can purge the judiciary of the Leftists that are setting the country on fire. I want to make Romania less corrupt and more sovereign too, but we can't do that when you got these Ceausescu-faggots canceling elections.

There will be globohomo fuckery, I don't doubt it for a second. Vote harder.

I'm not quite that blackpilled about America, but Euro brothers, you're fucked.

Today, German "democracy" looks surprisingly like Iran's, the only difference being the Supreme Leader openly selects who is allowed to run in Iran while in Germany the bureaucratic state does the same in the name of "protecting democracy."
