Tim is very afraid of the inevitable White Identity retaliation against all the black killings of Whites, so he tries to dismiss it as "tribal" so he can pretend it's fleeting and irrelevant. From someone who was very happy to title tons of his videos with "Civil War!" he sure is hedging his bets now that it's taking off.
I forget exactly when it was, sometime around 2020 probably, but him refusing to take very obviously sensible sides in things like lockdowns or violent rioting, combined with his never-ending "muh both sides" equivocating, made me swear him off forever. I'll never give him another chance and take every opportunity I have to denigrate him as a slippery snake.
I feel the same about him. It's all just so tiresome to have people go "both sides" when in many cases it's just one side and the other is defending itself from being violently attacked. You cannot fence-sit on certain topics IMHO(usually when it comes to racial hatred towards my own in-group), yet here we are and he's still doing it.
In this case I do think the black kid was going around stealing and got caught and tried provoking the kid to hit him based on the testimony of some of the people there and the general situation. With Tim though, I think he’s just trying to stick to the police report and how it’d be easy for someone in Texas to argue it was self defense. I mostly think Tim just didn’t look into this one very much. He’s got a kid now and is being more hands off, and dropped the ball.
People there from what I know did say the kid said “touch me and see what happens,” then “hit me and see what happens.” He was trying to get the victim to throw hands to make it self defense, but in Texas there’s a law that makes it an engagement at that point from what I read.
Even if none of that were true and that kid was just in their tent suspiciously when he had no business being there at all and refused to leave, that kid isn’t then allowed to stab the other guy in the chest to death.
Well Tim has a terrible understanding of the law. It's not even my jurisdiction and I know Texas does not allow self defense where there was provocation and it has to be proportional outside of a few specific scenarios
Tim’s better than Rogan at this, but typically he’ll still have the issue where if you deeply know about something he’s talking about, he’ll often convey big misunderstandings of it. When it comes to just keeping up with the news and politicians he’s second to none. When it comes to knowing about specific things like this, definitely not the most reliable source if he’s not relaying reports that other people made.
Tim’s also been taken in by a few crackpot guests in the past, like Jack Murphy.

He's racially ambiguous enough where both sides might see him as the enemy.
He is some kind of a shape shifter. I'll tell you that.
Could it be that the ugly faggot beanie is actually hiding a much smaller hat underneath worn only by members of an infamous... group?
The only thing tribal is the savages killing anything non black but you won't hear that from him ever. Fence shitter as per usual.
