Over and over, I've said that the J6 persecutions are one of the most extreme judicial injustices we've seen since The Scottsboro Boys case.
To be honest, given that this man isn't dead, and wasn't tortured, he got off lightly. Nothing in here is out-of-the-ordinary for the J6 defendants.
100% normal for the savages in DC. They did this repeatedly. This is one of the things that tipped off the media to an involvement of a Trump appointed judge in the district. He objected to a defendant with a misdemeanor charge being wheeled in in handcuffs, leg-shackles, belly chains, and a spit mask despite no disciplinary infractions in the 6 months he had been awaiting trial. This was also the first time the defendant had even seen his attorney.
Again, disband the DC Circuit Court. If they can't tolerate legal counsel that could be competition to their racket, then they should not exist.
This isn't out of the ordinary either. This was also a common occurrence. Mass seizure of all firearms and ammunition, no red flag laws needed, and even if convicted he wouldn't have had this depravation. I suppose he should be glad they didn't destroy or sell all of them.
You tell me how any of that is legal.
Let's be clear. This was the intention of the seizure.
Not only was this to deny him his defense, but also to convict him of a crime for not having these FFL documents if/when he ever got his guns back. Those carry much more significant penalties than the misdemeanor he faced.
Again, totally normal for the J6'ers. He's actually one of the lucky ones that wasn't held in 24 hour solitary confinement for 3 consecutive months... in jail. And that doesn't include the individuals who were being held without charge.
Disband, impeach, charge.
Again, completely normal for the J6'ers. Also, remember that all of his guns had long since been confiscated.
What did I tell you? Delete the files, then try to manufacture a situation where you can convict him for having them.
What did I tell you? Delete the files, then convict him for not having them.
What did I tell you? Delete the files, and then convict him of not having them.
Now it's just funny.
This is actually a real thing that's going to SCOTUS AFAIK. Basically the federal courts are claiming that if you record your own hearing it's a felony. But on multiple occasions the transcript has been doctored, and in this case, there is no transcript so fuck you.
This is not a free country, and there is no functioning judiciary in DC. It is a political Star Chamber.
I haven't read the rest of your post, but honestly THIS is the problem. It's because they weren't killed or tortured that Leftists are able to dismiss this gross misuse of legal powers against innocent people. So long as they can maintain an atmosphere that what has been done against the J6 prisoners was "peaceful", there's no injustice that goes too far in their eyes.
I don't really see this. The same people screeching about police abuse and murder of their poor little minority of choice were frothing with glee when Ashli Babbit was murdered.
It's easier to justify and defend a single, heat of the moment killing, even if unjustified, than it is to justify and defend prolonged, thought out and deliberate executions. One can be lied about and said to be in defence. The other can't. There is ZERO standing for that. But at least for something like Babbitt, there is an ounce, a morsel of possibility that it's not abjectly evil, even though we know it was.
The thing is, they don't care about justification. Or as they phrase it, there's no bad tactics, only bad targets.
They care about justification for the purpose of optics. Of course they don't care about it in regards to actually caring about it. Otherwise they wouldn't do these things at all because it can't actually be justified.
They don't see Trump supporters as human, so you can't expect them to believe that there is such a thing as injustice to a morally inferior and inhuman enemy.
He and many others were deliberately psychologically terrorized. What is that if not torture?
Well, it doesn't meet the definition of torture under international law.
However, keeping someone in 24 hour a day solitary confinement is considered torture under international law, and we did that for 3-6 months for a hundreds of the detainees "because covid".
International law is as useful as an ingrown toe nail. It's only ever used to point fingers at those you don't like while conviently forgetting it even exists when you or your friends break it.
Sure, but it allows us to show just how political the 'human rights' organizations really are.
I should have clarified physical torture.
Brutal read
But a necessary one. I seriously doubt default Leftists understand how hard innocent people are being targeted.
Remind me to bring this up whenever someone makes fun of Britain lacking a 2nd amendment.
The response to the Southport riots were disturbing. They emptied the prisons and then hit innocent people with crimes they were pressured to plead guilty for, while convicting others in trials that lasted minutes and were sentenced within 24 hours.
That just proves that the Brit Bongs don't have due process.
Sounds like a horror story from East Germany at the height of their power. No wonder the TDStards call any political opposition to them 'nazis' - they're projecting.
Evil.
They ran the same playbook that they used on Randy Weaver at Ruby ridge.
Can he get his constitutional rights and firearms buisness back now that Trump is appointing people who are not supposed to hate Americans?
Maybe. There's still going to be massive institutional resistance, even with the pardons. The slow-walking of the releases was intentional. He's probably still going to have huge problems with the ATF unless Brandon Herrera gets in or something crazy.
But hell, this week has been pretty nuts so maybe we'll make some progress.
Just declare them a terrorist organization no different than the islamic state.
