I mean I get it with how some authors think despite previous work, just ask the author behind Nagatoro, but once your work is 'out in the wild' best you can do is ignore it as this kind of action causes a Streisand effect.
Nagatoro and Komi really have been desecrated by some of the biggest subhumans that walk this earth.
DOA has literally had the reputation as the "lewd, jiggly" fighting game for 2 decades. That is the actual reason why it still exists and is remembered in the slightest, to the point where more people are aware of the spinoff Volleyball game than the main series.
They don't have the plausible deniability of a game like Tekken or Soul Calibur which has characters that clearly aren't meant to be lewded and is known as a real game instead of a titty sim.
Imagine creating characters specifically for fighting and/or lewd games and then considering them akin to real life offspring.
The entire gimmick of Dead Or Alive is their jiggle physics and sex appeal, no?
Who knows what they are removing.. perhaps things involving beasts, young looking stuff, or non-consensual stuff? Either way, that is concerning since it can easily become "slipper slope" where they remove more and more. Where they classify more genre and tags as "offensive".
