According to liberals, native Americans all lived super peaceful together and never attacked, rape, or stole from other villages. Like ever. Literal utopia here.
Must be. After all, it would be super embarrassing if they had the same warfare incentives Europeans did and yet never discovered things like gunpowder, armor, or metal weaponry, right?
Yep. Well they think the entire non western world was a peaceful utopia. If you haven’t seen the clip from Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee where Sitting Bull and that Army Colonel speak you should. I grew up in Oklahoma and we would have Native American tribal leaders come speak to us sometimes and they would talk about tribal wars before Europeans arrived so thankfully I never fell into the trap of thinking everything was utopian
Also they mastered the art of farming which europeans had never done before. Then the invading euros stole farming from them and intentionally gave them small pox blankets 400 years before the germ theory of disease.
The Trove is gone, but I think there are torrents out there with everything it had, plus people upload new pubs as they come out. If you want to play their game, just pirate it. Likewise D&D.
Although the content itself is compromised in these companies, so I would just grab their older stuff.
I scrolled through Bulmahn's feed-- there were people commenting on his August 8th tweet on the social construct because the post about Vance returning Pathfinder was gone. Lol.
Paizo's representative said to the incoming VP Vance that he, and people like him, should return their products because they're ebil orange-man-adjacent people.
Either die a hero, or live long enough to become a faggot
Fuck Paizo but Pathfinder Kingmaker really is the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate 2 in scope and gameplay. Highly recommended if you like the top down crunchy crpg.
If you aren't familiar with 3rd edition expect to brick at least a couple of builds (there is respec though) and unless you are cool with the "mostly mercenary party" route expect that whatever fun build you pick will probably be redundant with one of the better companions. Also immediately switch Amari's class to 2 hander ranger because animal companions are busted and pure barbarian isn't nearly as good.
But if you have the patience a couple of "learning" restarts it really is a worthwhile gaming experience.
Also don't bother with the DLC, it really doesn't add anything.
Thanks for reminding me what they do. I played the campaign and got stuck on some rescue mission. I just suck at D&D-style games. Got stuck on Baldur's Gate too.
3rd Ed Support Clerics bring the most to the party, pound for pound. They nerfed the living fuck out of them in 3.5, and they still are the strongest party build.
ive always stayed away from casters as mains because there is so much combat in these games that they and up being really fiddly and also to be optimal require resting between every fight
i ended up with the classic ranger archer for my main as the companion archer has suboptimal build choices for story reasons so i didnt mind ditching him, specifically the wolf is so much worse than the similodon
between 2 animal companions, 2 hander ranger amari and nok nok (who is kind of busted) that is a strong enough front line
also because of how party encumbrance works 2 animal companions massively increases your total carrying capacity so you dont have to worry about dumping those hide armors before selling them
The ranger archer seems to not have the highest damage ceiling but its been good enough so far. I think the only encounter that I couldn't beat out on the first try was the black dragon because he has like 45 AC and fear aura, but i haven't quite beaten the game yet. The ghost guards also gave me a bit of trouble, also mostly because of spam aoe fear and my front liners mostly weak will saves.
Apparently wild shape druid is also supposed to be pretty broken because there is a way to weave monk levels in for their goodies but havent really researched that deeply into it.
Washington state. No surprise there; they've been speedrunning the transition from nice place to live to liberal hellhole for the last decade.
Oh it's been going on up there for MUCH longer than that. It's just accelerated in the last decade.
My favorite landmark in my old neighborhood is a stump with a sign for a reforestation organization on it.
I saw that too. It's in Sammamish territory, which tends to be hard working, but has a few left leaning areas. Like one block in Woodinville.
So, it looks like a lot of the major geek companies are in the PNW and ruled by idiots.
Are they going to acknowledge the tribe that was conquered by the tribe they are acknowledging?

And the act of scalping was also learned from whites and never occured before
Of course Native Americans lived in a utopia! They were literal communists after all!

Pronouns should equal a no sale and let them know why. This is commie shit.
I will write out my own rules in pencil before I give Paizo a single cent.
There are so many better alternatives to the crap that they are peddling.
easy, always buy used
and don't give up the hobby, keep playing it and vandalize their ideology from within.

What is the story here? QRD?
People were emailing paizo to tell them one of their writers was being a spaz and saying certain types of people and JD vance shouldnt play pathfinder
Who? Bulmahn himself or James Jacobs or some they/them?
Bulmahn. In a since deleted tweet. Fandom Pulse carried the story; then he deleted the tweet when he caught viral attention.

Bulmahn iirc

I think I'm going to puke

I prefer wrath of the righteous myself

Wildshape druids kick the most ass in combat.

I now have one of these myself.
Got an address on the form letter response, so I'll mail em my battleworn Pathfinder 1st ed. book.
Bulmahn might not stand by his principles, as he deleted his tweet, but I do.
