Woke cunts are acting in a russophobic manner towards MiSide. Note: It's publisher IndieArc is a PRC company and may force the devs to put spyware into the software. (twitter.com)

If games made in a country support that country's government's actions...I guess no one should ever buy any video game ever.

I mean, top countries by market share are the US and China, by a huge margin. Not exactly benevolent actors.

Next up you have Japan, I suppose they're not as actively fucking over people. So I guess go Japanese games. Point is, if you can't buy games from Russia because of the war, you certainly can't get US or Chinese games.

In all seriousness, I'd be willing to accept paying for products produced outside of the direct funding of enemy organizations. It's why I don't have a MasterCard. Now, with China, there's a real problem. Private companies basically don't exist. It's hard to buy a Chinese project that won't directly support explicit anti-western military objectives by the CCP.

You basically have to support a product produced by the Falun Gong apparatus in order to support a non-CCP Chinese product. They're an explicit enemy of the CCP and their supporters will be imprisoned and have their organs removed, so they make it a life-long objective to defy the CCP. It's one of the few safe options. Last time I checked, they don't make video games.

Libertarians: I’m fine with financially supporting hostile subversives who hate me as long as they are properly incorporated and savvy enough to obscure their direct connections to government (which they fund and control). And if I’m to be replaced by foreigners, gosh darn it, then it had better be legal!

Which western corporations do you view as sufficiently moral to be worthy of your money?

No one said this.

Its an unfortunate down side of both the modernized version of capitalism and globalism in that you cannot truly escape funding some form of your enemy short of just ceasing to buy anything and live off the grid.

Its why a lot of boycotts are nonsensical, because its literally "I am only against it if I have to be made aware of it." Valid morally, but not consistently principled either.

While I understand the flow of money will not be entirely segregated, I can still do well to not explicitly fund them. No sense in using something if there is an alternative available.

Of course, you should always try to do so. Its just not feasible to truly achieve the goal in any sense.

I have no idea what the point of your post is, but I should note that I was mentioning the possibility of interference by a foreign government against Russians, even though the PRC is an ally of the Putin administration.

I thought it was pretty clear: If buying Russian games is supporting terrorism...you certainly can't buy American games, or Chinese games, either.

the possibility of interference by a foreign government against Russians

I mean, anything is possible, but I really don't see how some woke curator is a big deal. Heck, I'm subscribed to an anti-China curator; I get similar warnings if a game is backed by China. It's not a hard and fast boycott, and it's not for moral reasons, but it's useful information to know, since the practices associated can be annoying.

Someone made an anti-Russia curator. Retarded and woke, but who really cares?

I mean, the two negative curator reviews are both because of country; China and Russia. Hilarious, actually!

They're correct, yeah.

The devs, AIHASTO, have a "boosty," which is apparently Russian Patreon.

To be clear, I don't care, but the devs (two indie devs, sounds like), are Russian. These two game creators are obviously funding Putin's War of Choice, though!

Boosty is just better than Patreon in general because you won't get banned for arbitrary leftist morals rule breaking, at least not that I've seen.

Same. Then I saw the voice options. It has five, none of them English, but it has Russian and Spanish (I think the other non-Japanese voices were Chinese and Korean, but I could be mistaken).

Russians have a long history of making games that are so anime its pretty indistinguishable.

Everlasting Summer is one of the VNs of the early internet days and its literally just a bunch of Russian 2chan trolls.

I love supporting terrorism. Much rather support terrorism than the organized and coordinated abolishment of our culture and traditions.
