At least according to one of the comments, a shooting has happened at that club before. People look for connections, so some will jump to terror (because we did already have two today!), but it probably is more likely - if that comment is correct - that this was some gang violence or something similar.

It was definitely a gang thing. Multiple shooters targetting a specific group that were outside the club.

I would like to point out that in New York City, where gun ownership is basically non-existent, a mass shooting happens. In New Orleans, where gun ownership is rampant, the terrorist opted for a truck of peace attack.
