Honestly, on point.
When I think of a father who alternatives between abusing and abandoning his son, I usually think of a black guy. Same with an amoral, self-justifying piece of shit who is just trying to pretend he doesn't enjoy violence and chaos with all of those justifications.
The left and virtue signallers do come off as extremely racist when you see who or what they compare to blacks.
Savage pillager Orcs = Black people
A stupid mermaid almost dooming her people for a crush = she's now black.
See this is why you create NEW characters as when you race swap, you get the added factor of being asked 'so why do associate this race with this?', of course the left don't have a creative bone in their body so they're fucked.
Literally the only way it doesn't come across as racist for them is when its done arbitrarily to a point of being obviously lacking in any thought like that, such as the raceswap artists on tumblr/twitter who just make everyone black.
Don't worry. I'm sure they have a sympathetic angle up their sleeve.
Norman always does, its why he is such an enduring character despite being a pretty lame gimmick.
Ol' Norm was a redhead originally, wasn't he?
Norm is famous for his brown hair being shaded so weirdly it has looked like cornrows since like the 60s long before those even became popular, so this version is ironically one of the most faithful in adapting that part about him.
I was thinking of The Spectacular Spiderman. He and Harry were ginger in that.
A very common choice they make with Norman across a lot of adaptations is to make his hair so light that its almost red in a lot of lightings anyway. So of course they'd have pure ginger ones too.
Its very odd how consistent of a thing with him it is though. Its either dark ass shaded cornrows or barely browner than it is red.
They need to fire these people. Just look at any amazing or spectacular Spider-Man for inspiration. Well any issue made before Disney took over
It's all so tiresome. 🙄
I think I've posted this exact sentence a half dozen times.
Only half a dozen? Those are rookie numbers.
In fairness, even if you think it on 90% of stories, frequently someone else has already posted it.
Only 10% of supervillains commit 90% of the crime
And what skin color is his son? 🤣
He’s gonna web all that malt liquor.
