What's unfortunate is most of the anti-anime thing right now started on our side because Trannies loved using anime avatars (like all weebs do at one point), and so it just became "every negative thing about gays and trannies also applies to anime."

Strange. I'm no expert - haven't even signed in to Twitter/X for years - but in linked tweets I often see leftoids whining about the racist and far right "anime avatar" people, and using the fact someone has an anime icon to discredit them.
I've also never even been on twitter, but in the places I have frequented, including other social media, "anime avatar" has been more often used to mockingly dismiss trannies and other wokies.
Not that I haven't heard it used in Leftist circles like you are saying too, but not nearly to the same level of "not only are you bad, but anime itself is bad because you are in it."
What I'm getting from this is that anime avatar people are probably cringe extremists on one side or the other.

It's immensely frustrating to see entertainment medium after entertainment medium fall to the demons and locusts. And it's infinitely worse to see whole societies and civilizations fall to them. They are the Enemy, and must be stopped, before it's too late.

My line is when the story has to take extensive, repeated pauses going nowhere because it's time for a several-minutes-long tits-fondling and tits-debate session. Looking at you, Danmashi ( the first few episodes are the worse, then it largely stops to focus on the story ).
The difference is I say what I don't like and go watch something else. I don't demand stuff gets banned because muh institutional misoginy.
Also, I went watching Redo of a Healer expecting those interesting plot lines started in the first two episodes to go somewhere. Instead it's mostly sexual fetish stuff.
I'd really like an anime to steal the shit out of the content of the first 2 episodes to follow-through with the story. Redo of a Redo of a Healer, but take the focus away from the porn.
And again, I don't want the original censored. I just really like the ''story bait''.

second of all, there is no reality in which watching animated children because they are "cute" from a country known for making digital pornography of them is sane in the head. if you were sane in the head, which you aren't, you would prefer to watch animated adults and would find grown men who want to watch animated children weird, which they are.
