A mix of the usual suspects (WotC, Catalyst, Paizo), some other smaller usual suspects (Hairbrained Schemes, Dire Wolf, Ghost Story/Irrational Games), and then a bunch of even smaller individuals, as well as a bunch of board game/RPG/comic people.
People generally know WOTC is owned by Hasbro, but if you ask someone who plays “who makes D&D?” or “who makes MtG?” you’re still more likely to hear “WOTC” than “Hasbro.”
And half of them don't even seem to list companies. "Writer" "Editor", etc. There's even someone on there listed as a supply chain manager. Now, I will grant that the logistics side of things is probably much more important than the "creative" (used very loosely) side of things in most games these days, but when is the last time anyone asked for political opinions of a supply chain manager?
It really depends. Some mid-level design manager for Xbox signing this can't be seen as an Xbox or Microsoft endorsement.
Having Mike Turian, Executive Producer of MtG and Jason Tondro, senior designer for D&D at Wizards of the Coast, can for WotC, though. (Not to mention there are many other WotC/Hasbro signers too.)
Honestly, I'm shocked there are that many people who unironically signed this.
While I understand people hating Trump (in the sense that they've been constantly bombarded with nonstop propaganda for nearly a decade now), I can't understand people unironically liking Kamala Harris. She was the most unlikable, least-voted for candidate in the primaries, and everyone fucking hated everything about her even on the democrat side.
A solid 1/3 of people are, mentally speaking, actual sheep. They are herd animals who will happily and wholeheartedly believe whatever they're told to believe by whoever they perceive as their masters. They're not pretending or kidding themselves - they genuinely adore her now for no reason other than because they were told to.
Desperate last minute outreach to a demographic that mostly despises her. I think the dems have crossed over from “we need to make the steal look legitimate” to “we’re losing in a landslide”.
Interesting to note, is that I cannot find any coder among list, found one for the medical industry in the list of gamers? (upper management rarely code and their skills decay faster then you can blink, if they ever had any worth mention, haha) which means that they could not get any autist to tranny to sign this, haha
I think it would be simpler to compile a whitelist.
This. I assume any gaming company is pozzed in the absence of evidence to the contrary.
Literally.
Hehehe... WHITE list.

For wotc I would have just said hasbro.

Because until hasbro yanks wotc and the woke cancer out of MtG, that's who I will continute to blame for it.
Hasbro has been dead to me since Ms. Monopoly. They've only gotten worse since then.

Yup, you'd have to do some serious homework to match all these people to companies and projects.
Some don't even seem to be in the gaming industry, or just minimalistically so.
If their company allows employees to identify themselves on a list like this with their employment, they endorse it.

Looks like there are three categories:

Why can’t these morons realize that they are there to provide entertainment. Stop involving yourself in politics.

Now if that isn't the most pathetic astroturf I've ever seen
The kind of devs that would sign this are also the type to hate the label gamer and the audience associated with it.
Without a moment's doubt, that's true.
This reminds me, I miss the original OneAngryGamer.
I noticed firebrand types of posters tend to burn out though and turn into lolcows. Remember Ethan Ralph? OAG turned into one as well.

I have no clue who any of those people are. None of their names brought forth any idea of what they did, or what they created.
